In 1990 I returned to the family ranch after attending South Dakota State University and began my Aberdeen Angus breeding program with the intent of producing certified organic black Angus beef.
I use OCC Emblazon and Shoshone bloodlines. My goal is a moderate frame sized animal that easily finishes well on an organic grassfed program. The result of this is a lean, slightly sweet tasting meat high in Omega 3 and CLA (conjugated linoleic acid) creating a meat lower in fat and calories.
We are certified organic and strive to maintain the best environment for our animals to thrive as well as maintain a healthy ecological range management for our planet to survive.
